Meet Our New Pastor

Rev. Kevin L. Davis

Greetings Fourth M.B.C. family & friends,

I am humbled and honored to serve as the Pastor of the Fourth Missionary Baptist Church. In fulfilling the call to Pastor, it is important for me to minister to the spiritual needs of the church through prayer and studying the Bible to prepare timely messages and lessons that will provide spiritual guidance and development through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sincerely,
Rev. Kevin L. Davis

More As a Native Houstonian

As a native Houstonian, I made my personal confession to Christ as a teenager. Later in 2001, I accepted the call to preach the Gospel at Fourth Missionary Baptist Church. For over twenty years as a minister at Fourth Missionary Baptist Church, I have been involved in several church auxiliaries, ministries, and shared pastoral responsibilities. I am honored to have received foundational ministry training under the late Rev. Walter F. Houston. Under his leadership, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge that has prepared me for this awesome task of leading God’s people. I’m also fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet and interact with pastors from local, state, and national associations which have shaped my ministry as well.

I am grateful to have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State as well as a Master of Theological Studies from Houston Graduate School of Theology. Through these experiences God has blessed me with the insight and inspiration necessary to perform the required skills for this God given position and a passion for preaching God’s word. I enjoy reading, watching movies, participating in activities such as cycling, working out and playing basketball.
My lovely wife, Krystal and I are blessed to have been married for 20 years and look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries. We are the proud parents of Kaleb, Kamden, and Kai Davis. As a family we enjoy spending time together and celebrating each other. I am excited to serve as the Pastor of this great church. May we continue to grow in grace and the love of God.
